Posidone

Il progetto del cliente ci ha messo di fronte a due vini rossi del sud dal sapore complesso ed intenso.

La Magna Grecia è sempre stata un ponte marittimo tra la cultura latina e quella ellenica, diventando un crocevia dove mito, leggenda e tradizione si sono incontrati.
È in questo contesto che abbiamo immaginato i vigneti baciati dal sole, dove le uve possono crescere forti e sane, accarezzate dai venti mediterranei governati dal dio Poseidone.

La nostra volontà è stata quella di rendere questo vino simile ad un tesoro da recuperare in fondo al mare (e magari anche dallo scaffale).
Attorno al naming fornito, abbiamo realizzato un’illustrazione che, a partire dal punto centrale con il figurativo del Dio Poseidone, si sviluppa con delle volute e degli abbellimenti che vanno a riempire la fustella che contiene il tutto.
Una tavola di disegno ampia per vestire questa bordolese che si è prolungata poi in un’etichetta aggiuntiva sottostante che accoglie il nome del vino e una descrittiva a supporto.

The client’s presented us a project with a two southern red wine of complex and intense flavor.

Magna Grecia has always been a maritime bridge between Latin and Hellenic cultures, becoming a crossroads where myth, legend, and tradition meet.
It is in this context that we envisioned sun-kissed vineyards, where grapes can grow strong and healthy, caressed by the Mediterranean winds governed by the god Poseidon.

Our aim was to make this wine resemble a treasure to be recovered from the depths of the sea (and perhaps from the shelf as well).
Around the provided naming, we created an illustration that, starting from the central point with the figure of the god Poseidon, develops with spirals and embellishments filling the die-cut that contains everything.
An extensive drawing board to dress this Bordeaux bottle, which then extended into an additional lower label that hosts the wine’s name and a supporting description.
