A manifesto against green-washing. The label symbolically represents green-washing, the dazzle of fictitious sustainability. Removing the label is therefore the first step that we ask of those who receive this gift: the gold writing seems to transfer to the glass, giving concrete value to the packaging.

brief / output

Labelit asked us to create a gift for their customers that featured this year’s innovation: printing on sustainable and biodegradable fabric.
The studio has created a real Packaging Manifesto against greenwashing.

We decided to integrate the project into a broader sustainability message and ask you to do your part by reducing waste, reusing, and recycling.
The gold label features the famous motto “All that glitters is not gold” and symbolizes greenwashing, the glimmer of fictitious sustainability.

Removing the label is therefore the first step we ask of those who receive this gift: the gold writing appears to transfer to the glass, giving concrete value to the packaging.
This marks the beginning of a new phase in which the bottle can be reused as a water bottle, fragrance diffuser, vase, etc., while the label, applied to a piece of cardboard, becomes a sample.

The project was shortlisted for the 2023 edition of the international Pentawards competition.
